Competitors will enter the stage individually to perform their posing routine to the music of their choice. Music containing profanity or explicit language is prohibited and will result in routine being cut short. Time limit is 60 seconds. Both, the “moon” pose (bending over to display glutes and hamstrings) and lying on the floor, is strictly prohibited during any posing routine. Both will result in disqualification. Once all posing routines have been performed, Competitors will enter the stage as a group where they may be asked to do some additional comparisons.
Overall Pose Down
All 1 st place winners will compete for the Overall trophy, by doing ¼ turns and Mandatory Poses. They will also be given 20 seconds of free posing with some background music. Competitors will enter the stage as a group.
Front Double Biceps
Standing face front to the judges, with the legs and feet in-line and a short distance apart, the competitor will raise both arms to shoulder level and bend them at the elbows. The hands should be clenched and turned down so as to cause a contraction of the biceps and forearm muscles, which are the main muscle groups that are to be assessed in this pose. In addition, the competitor should attempt to contract as many other muscles as possible as the judges will be surveying the whole physique, from head to toe. The judge will first survey the biceps muscles looking for a full, peaked development of the muscle, noting whether or not there is a defined split between the anterior and posterior sections of the biceps, and will continue the head-to-toe survey by observing the development of the forearms, deltoids, pectorals, pec-delt tie-ins, abdominals, thighs, and calves. The judge will also look for muscle density, definition, and overall balance.
- Competitors must conduct themselves in a manner that will reflect favorably on the sport of bodybuilding, figure, physique and bikini.
- Do not make disparaging remarks concerning the Judges or Competitors anywhere in the venue.
- Do not make disparaging gestures while on stage, or engage in any conduct that demeans you, your fellow Competitors, Judges, hosts (the venue) or the fans.
Unsportsmanlike conduct will result in immediate disqualification and relinquishment of ALL placings. The Athlete will also be escorted out of the venue.
